Service Crew

What is Service Crew?

Service Crew is part of the Camp Hickory Hill Leadership Development Program. Being a part of our Service Crew means you will learn the importance of servant-hood as it relates to leadership and serving God.

While on our Service Crew you will help with various projects around camp. Projects may be things like painting, splitting wood, building, cleaning bathrooms or taking out garbage. These are all things that are vital to the ministry of Camp Hickory Hill, necessary for camp to operate. In doing these projects you will learn how to serve God through hard work with a positive attitude.

Your leaders will be with you all week and will work alongside you as they teach as well as build relationships with you. In addition to the work times, you will have several hours each day of games and fun. You will also have times of Bible study each day with the entire staff.

What is required to be on Service Crew?

1. Applicants must be graduates of 8th grade or higher (approx. ages 14-17)

2. Service Crew members must attend camp for at least 1 week as a camper.

Is there a cost to be on Service Crew?

No. Provided you attend camp as a camper for 1 week, your week of Service Crew is free.
