Sam began attending Camp Hickory Hill at ten years old. As soon as he was old enough, he became a Junior Leader, then Collegian, Program Director and Assistant Summer Camp Director. In 1986 Sam was made the Summer Camp Director. Sam continued to serve as the Camp Director and beginning in 1992 also served as the Regional Director for CSB Ministries until 2008 when he was brought on as the Executive Director for Camp Hickory Hill.
Sam and Suzanne attend Randall Baptist Church in Williamsville, NY, where they are involved in a variety of ways. They have 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren.
Brian StebickAssistant Executive Director
Brian service at Camp Hickory Hill began on summer staff throughout his high school and college years. Brian received his B.S. in Bible from Clarks Summit University before he went on to serve as Camp Director for Camp Kaskitowa in West Michigan and Midwest Regional Director for CSB Ministries. Brian enthusiastically answered the call to return to Camp Hickory Hill in 2015 in his full-time role.
Brian and his wife, Courtney, have three children: Joseph, Jaina and Georgia.
Mike SmithSite Director
Mike began serving in camping ministry at Camp Kaskitowa (Allegan, MI) in 2011, where he was the Director and Caretaker. In 2018 Mike and his family answered the call to move from their home in Michigan to Camp Hickory Hill to serve as the Assistant Site Manager. Mike’s talent and experience have served CHH well as he now serves as the Site Director.
Mike and his wife, Sarah, have two sons, Caleb and Lucas.
Nadene FranklinAdministrative Assistant & Food Service Coordinator
Nadene joined Camp Hickory Hill in 2019 as Administrative Assistant. In 2020 she took on the additional role of Food Service Coordinator. Nadene has five adult children who have all attended and served at Camp Hickory Hill. She has great passion for the ministry and serves in many ways to enable people to have a wonderful experience at camp.
Kathy "Mac" McIntoshGirls Programming Director
“Mac” began serving with our girls’ summer camp program when it began in 2004. Her leadership as the girls director has enabled the programs to grow significantly, including our Mother & Daughter retreats. Mac’s impact on camp and these programs continues to allow CHH to reach many girls for Christ.
Kathy and her husband, Dick, have 4 children and many grandchildren, many of whom have attended and served at camp.
Tim BestMaintenance Team
Tim joined Camp Hickory Hill in 2015 as the Assistant Site Manager after working many years as a steamfitter. His first exposure to Camp Hickory Hill was through Randall Baptist Church’s CSB Program and Father & Son events. Tim got more involved at camp and accepted Christ through camp’s ministry and Sam Richbart.
Tim and his wife, Sonya, attend Randall Baptist Church. They have 2 children.
