Instructions
This study has been designed to prepare you for your leadership training experience at Camp Hickory Hill. You will read some important passages in the Bible and think through some big questions. Please keep in mind we are not just looking for the “right answer” but asking you to think through what you read and to reflect on the questions you are asked.
The study is divided into six parts. Each part is a different topic and is spread out over several days, allowing you to take your time to think through what you read. It is recommended that you only do one day at a time, do not try to do multiple days at once. This will allow you to really work through the passages you read and focus on the different topics being presented.
If there’s a passage you don’t understand or a question you don’t know how to answer, that’s ok. Do your best to think through it and write what you think, or what you are confused about. This is not a test; it is simply preparing you for your training.
Remember to pray at the start of each day’s study to ask God to guide your thoughts as you do this.
